PowerLift Doors are built using the best, most up-to-date, and user friendly technology available. Each of our hinges use 1″ Stressproof shafting, rated at 100,000 psi shear strength. Our NO-MAINTENANCE, greaseless bushings are a composite material, consisting of bonded layers of a steel backing and a porous bronze matrix, impregnated and overlaid with PTFE bearing material.
We have personally tested these bushings to over 86,000 cycles, while measuring less than .003″ of wear. To put that in perspective, you could open and close your door every day for 235 years and the hinges would still be going strong! Other manufacturers are forcing their customers to climb a ladder twice a year to manually grease all their hinges. Totally unnecessary with a PowerLift Door!
